A neighbor of ours maintains two owl boxes that are regularly used by Western Screech-owls. During a recent box-cleaning, she found one owl at home. The screecher creature was shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you*, by having his sleep disturbed while the box was cleaned.

Hi Harry,
This is just terrific. I am sending it to friends for Thanksgiving. Glad you are home. I feel better when I know you are around. I did get to see the tomato plant while you were gone. I can’t help but wonder what you put in the soil to make it so healthy. Maybe it is on an Indian burial ground!
Cheers,
marie annette
