Intent on feeding this frigid morning, this male Varied Thrush in Lithia Park ignored the dog and me. It’s great to have a large winter population of these birds. Next winter–who knows?

Varied Thrush knows that Lithia Park is a dog free zone thus though dog and Harry were an undigested piece of beef or what morsel causes the Thrush to have bad dreams.
