Birded the Yamhill Sewer Ponds this morning:

CAMAS (1280x960)The camas lily once fed Native Americans across the plant’s range, and helped Lewis & Clark get through their first winter in the Rockies.  These are some of the first camas blossoms I’ve seen this spring.
