SUMMERING BIRDS

OSP NEST (1280x960) (707x445)Osprey sheltering nestlings from bright sun at nest next to Wheatland Ferry. He does have the diagnostic curved upper beak, at least.hofi yngNutria at Tualatin River: newtreeahOne of several young Barn Swallows beginning their flights, at Jake Price Stables north of Lafayette here in Yamhill County.  Note the pale gape on this young bird.BARS YNG1 BARS YNG2Bee happily feeding on lavender flower at Oregon Olive Mill in Dundee Hills.
