UPDATE: EPA has apparently been ordered to take down climate change web pages. The new regime will have to fire almost every federal worker to stop leaks about the regime’s attempt to hide truths they choose to refute.
As of now, mid-day Wednesday the climate change pages still stand on the EPA website. https://www.epa.gov/climatechange/adapting-climate-change
I expect them to disappear on a Saturday night or during the Super Bowl, when few people are watching.
Can they get the Dept. of Labor to change the unemployment rate to the 42% claimed by The Leader?
Lies, conspiracy theories and heavy-handed suppression of dissent. That shall be the daily diet fed to the world media by the new regime in Washington. Until federal employees are fired or cowed, leaks will be the only way the public can know what’s really happening. It gets far less attention than Obamacare but environmental regs are a top target of the new regime.
I just checked and there is still a lot of content on the EPA website about climate change. We can expect that to go away at some point.
Here’s a good analysis of how much legal authority the new regime has to silence public employees. They will, of course try to claim everything is a homeland security issue. Do we still have an independent judiciary or will the courts back the bully? We shall see, no doubt. And we will find out how many federal workers are willing to risk making leaks.
Here’s my earlier blog on some of the many federal sites that have dealt with climate change:
Rule #1: Control the Media
Any government that wants total control and compliance must control information. China regularly bans or censors many kinds of websites and methods of digital communication. In North Korea a cell phone could be a capital offense depending on what you do with it. Here in the U.S. we should expect a digital book burning: federal websites that deal with climate change will likely be expunged and then we’ll be told they didn’t really exist to begin with…or they were part of a Chinese or Mexican plot.
Well, here are some that I have found in easy google searches. Be interesting to see how long before these URLs become broken links.
FEDERAL CLIMATE WEBSITES:

If you think this purge is difficult go to Florida’s state government website. Search “climate change” and get zero hits. Next door Georgia’s sta5e government has not done the purge and you get several pages of URLs for the same search.
UPDATE: A public affairs person at the NRDC assures me that scientists across the nation are currently working to archive all the information now contained on government websites.
