DUFF DIGGER

A single male Varied Thrush was back in our garden this morning…scratching through the duff beneath our dawn redwoods.  Sow  bugs, slugs, earwigs, earthworms, perhaps a few seeds.  He ignored all the sunflower seeds and suet feeders.vt-duff2Just take a  moment to admire those scallop patterned feathers on this guy’s sides.vt-duff

  1. After writ ing Silent Spring, and all the while suffering terribly with cancer, Rachael Carson, said, “I could not enjoy the sound of a thrush unless I had done everything I could.” What dedication… hero ism really.

Now that is someone to look up to, not this mentally unbalanced person put into office by selfish, angry, uncaring and unconscionable people.

World turned upside down. NOW we will test the power of government by the people….may we have a better country for it. Watch out for the women!

Got to Karl’s tonight. Owl was present and in charge. Thanks for the connection.
