RED-BREASTED ‘FLYCATCHER’ OVER YAMHILL

It was really a Red-breasted Sapsucker but I could not recall seeing that species fly catch.  I expect it from Lewis’s and Acorn Woodpeckers, but this one made me giggle with delight, a precious commodity these days [delight].rbs-aarbs-bbrbs-ccrbs-ddAbove you can see those pointed woodpecker tail feathers.  Below, resting between sorties.rbs-eeIMG_1704Any mycologists out there?  Is this Pholiota spumosa?IMG_1708Snowberries:IMG_1719
