Yesterday (March 3) our Klamath Bird Observatory birders moved from Lacey up the Hood Canal to Sequim.  Birds aplenty and lunch at Rocky Brook Falls upslope from Brinnon in the Olympic rain forest:fallsDown in Brinnon we found a school of elk in the playground of the local elementary:IMG_5360As for birds: Bald Eagles, Long-tailed (nee Oldsquaw) Ducks, Trumpeter Swans…and Brant mixing with lesser beings, often saltwater wigeon:b n wTrumpeters near Sequim:trmptr
